Hempstead High School has been the recipient of the MVC Fall Sportsmanship Trophy for 5 years in a row and the
MVC Winter Sportsmanship Trophy 4 of the last 5 years.

Sportsmanship is important and a tradition hear at
Hempstead and we are proud of our accomplishment.  It is
up to everyone involved in Mustang sports: fans, players & Coaches, to uphold this tradition.  

Please promote good sportsmanship towards players, coaches, officials, visiting teams and visitors.  We want
visitors to go home,
regardless of the score, and say that this was a great place to play.
